Daniel Brandt is a London-based composer, drummer, film maker and co-founder of acclaimed German ensemble Brandt Brauer Frick who the BBC described as “Concert hall compositions for the clubbing generation”. A graduate of Cologne’s Media Arts Academy, Brandt has directed and produced visuals for BBF and Eternal Something, much of his musical creative ideas reference a rich visual palette.

Brandt is equally at home writing scores for advertising, film and documentaries. Recent scoring work includes campaigns for Amnesty International, H&M, Sisley and World Animal Protection. His score for Tom Hardiman’s short film ‘Pitch Black Panacea’ was nominated for a Peer Raben Music Award in 2021. Most recently, Daniel wrote and co-directed ‘Without Us’, a short film starring Aylin Tezal about the climate crisis for which he also wrote the score. Without Us’ premiered with live score at The Barbican in London in 2025.
